In today's episode, I speak with Darris Blackford. Darris is the race director for the Nationwide Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon. Besides being the race director, Darris is an accomplished runner who has run over 200 marathons, including ultra-races like the Badwater 135 and Burning River. In this episode, we learn about Darris and how he became a race director. And, we talk running races, this year's Columbus marathon and we share lots of memories as well as some running tips. We also announce the Fall 2019 RunBuzz community meetup where community members from around the world can come run with us at the Columbus Marathon's 40th anniversary celebration.
